The world we live in is quite demanding. It expects us to juggle a lot of things all at the same time. Deadlines are wailing like a banshee. Tension level is at its peak. Where to go? Spa spree!
A visit to a spa shows to be a blissful time for most people particularly after having comforting and unwinding spa treatments. First on the list – a spa massage!
There’s no denying of the benefits of a massage as evident throughout the course of history. Taking yourself to a spa massage aids you spill stress that’s been filing up in your system for quite some time already.
As studies would have it, a spa massage, or rather merely a massage, delivers good results on patients. For instance, it intensifies relaxation and reduces stress through the manipulation of muscles by applying pressure on the tensed muscles. It tones body muscles and boosts blood circulation.
As spas are required to have licensed and well-trained therapists, visiting a spa massage is said to be a better choice to have the complete benefits of a massage. By applying the adequate force and targeting the strained areas of the body, the flow of lymph is increased, thus improving the body’s ability to fight against diseases.

Acne bothers a lot of individuals irrespective of age. By definition, it is a skin condition that results from excess production of oil in the oil glands of the skin that is made visible through pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and cysts.
For acne-troubled skin, a special care must be applied so as not to worsen the skin’s condition. Although it’s not the sole solution, but a facial spa is always an effective choice.
The gains of a facial spa are never a question. For one thing, we all want the masterly hands of aestheticians from time to time to help us in dealing with our skin the right way. Still, one should understand that no facial could produce same marvels to the skin to every patients. Be careful then of the facial spa that you’re going for.
Ask an acne expert. When going for a facial spa, always remember to consult first with an acne specialist about your skin condition. Never let anyone try to throw you a treatment without enough knowledge on acne. Otherwise, it would only worsen the situation.
Acne-friendly products only. Acne treatments should be able to help a patient get rid of possible scarring, consider inflamed areas, and reduce the formation of pimples and/or blackheads and whiteheads. However, all these should be combined with the good products. And usually, they come with hefty price tags as they’re specially formulated for acne. You should be wary about taking a facial spa at a very low price because the products utilized might stimulate more harm than solution to your stressed skin. Always ask a salon if they have acne-friendly products ahead taking a facial spa. Inquire about the products and do a research.

It’s a fact – the spa is a big industry and is still flourishing. And nothing can stop that. Sometime in November this year, the International Spa Association (ISPA) published its 2010 Trend Watch report, describing several interesting craze for spas in 2010:
Customer Service. Great customer service is always the best! You could hand the most expensive spa treatment, but when the client isn’t satisfied with her spa experience, it’s tantamount to nothing. “As a matter of fact, 87 percent of ISPA member spas are using customer feedback mechanisms to guarantee they’re meeting consumers’ desires…” Spas should embrace improved means then to give the clients a more gratifying spa experience.
Spa Sampling Menus. This is a strategic means to let spa clients get a form of “preview” of the different treatments thatthey are planning to try on.
Spa Partnerships. This lets spas to widen their reach by building partnerships with local businesses that may also gain from them. In this way, spas are able to advance their business and grow the number of clients by taking the spa nearer to the clients. Several strategies can be carried out like discounted prices with partner hotels or resorts. And who doesn’t love a bargain?
Social Media. From tweeting to blogging, and everything in between, it’s predicted that in 2010 social media will carry on being influential in helping spa-goers create decision from what to where of spa. Needless to say, spas should take advantage of social media to gain clients.
